The Client: Ngwathe Local Municipality

The upgrading of bulk water supply in the Heilbron and Vredefort areas of Ngwathe Local Municipality was important for the development of the area and the improvement of the living standards of the people living in the affected areas.

This was emphasised in the IDP report. This project was aimed at identifying the elements of the water scheme of Heilbron and Vredefort that needs to be upgraded to ensure sustainable water supply to the inhabitants.

The employment of local labour during construction as well as training was provided during construction.
