This project consists of the planning, design and supervision of the construction of a newly established Flea Market, the construction of a new ablution block, a new pedestrian walkway, a thatched roof for hawkers and the construction of a new 1,8m high security fence.

The project included the full participation of the community from the project identification phase up until the completion of the construction.

A local contractor was appointed for the construction of the project and only made use of local labour. Most materials were bought from local suppliers
